Bone Broth – What is it?

This golden liquid dates back to prehistoric times, it is a liquid containing bone marrow from brewed bones and connective tissues. This is made by simmering the bones in water with some vinegar helps release nutrients from the marrow within the bones, as well as break down other tissues into the water. The result is a flavoursome, nutritious jelly textured broth.

Why use it?

Bone broth is great for boosting immunity & for gut health, we highly recommend using bone broth after a dosage of antibiotics or if they have recently been unwell; diarrhoea etc. It is high in minerals, amino acids, glucosamine, collagen and so much more! It’s awesome for joint growth & overall joint health as it’s loaded with glucosamine which not only supports bones but tendons and ligaments.

What’s in this pack?

This pack gives you all the ingredients & the guidance on how to make the perfect bone broth.  All that’s needed is a slow cooker preferably around 5L size, other than that it’s just time & patience. This pack will give you up to 2.5L of bone broth depending on how large your cooker is, from here you can freeze the broth into silicone molds, keep it fresh as it sets into a jelly or even warm it up again for your pet to enjoy as a warm liquid!
